His concept was inspired by an article in Vibe, Racer X, Ken Li, about street racing in New York. The film, which was distributed by Universal Pictures, is starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster. His debut took place at June 22, 2001.

Seu conceito foi inspirado por um artigo da revista Vibe, Racer X, de Ken Li, sobre corridas de rua em Nova York. O filme, que foi distribuído pela Universal Pictures, é estrelado por Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez e Jordana Brewster. Sua estreia se deu a 22 de junho de 2001.

The film follows Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), a cop who covertly infiltrates the world of illegal racing cars tuned in the streets of Los Angeles to capture the responsible for several robberies trucks on the roads near the city. But he ended up getting involved so you just not holding runners, but falling in love with Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster), the sister of one of them, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), which is the street racer most famous and respected Los Angeles, which even dating Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), who besides being the girlfriend of Don, is also combined in the crimes he commits. The conflict in history is also connected to an Asian gang led by Johnny Tran (Rick Yune)

Mas ele acabou se envolvendo de tal modo que acabou não prendendo os corredores, mas sim se apaixonando por Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster), irmã de um deles, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), que é o mais famoso e respeitado corredor de rua de Los Angeles, cujo mesmo namora Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), que além de ser namorada de Dom, também é aliada nos crimes que ele comete. O conflito na história também está ligado a uma gangue de asiáticos liderada por Johnny Tran (Rick Yune)
